8th grade Spanish students began their second MovieTalk unit of the year. This unit's themes are La familia y la amistad (Family and Friendship). This week we watched the following clips and discussed orally and/or in writing:

7th grade Spanish students continued their fist novela of the year, "El nuevo Houdini." This week's chapters included:

* Students took a brief hiatus from the book to focus on how to conjugate verbs in the present tense to help them better understand the events of the book. Activities included:

- Verb puzzle

8th grade Spanish students finished their Reader's Theatre unit. Students performed their skits to the class. The following skits will be performed in Spanish:
