Intermediate I Spanish students have begun their latest thematic unit with "La Quinceañera." Students are learning about the importance of a girl's 15th birthday party in Hispanic culture and the important roles that both male and female young people play in this celebration. Novice II Spanish students are still in the midst of a MovieTalk unit and completed the following MovieTalk discussions this week:

6th graders have been doing a mini-unit focusing of simple Spanish grammar. The following topics were practiced this week through short stories.
* Using "Quiero, quieres, quiere" (I want, you want, he/she wants)
* Me gusta(n), le gusta(n), te gusta(n) (I like, you like, he/she likes)
